Who is responsible for your information
Waddi is run by Hassan Darawsha, Street 56/4, Iksal.
What we collect
- Your phone number and name when you create an account, and if you wish: gender and year of birth, to show you offers that suit you.
- The delivery addresses and map locations you save.
- Your current location: only when you set the delivery place in the cart and allow location access.
- Your order details: the shop, products, prices, notes and the ratings you give.
- For drivers: their location while the app is online and taking orders, to show it to the customer and to assign orders.
- For shop owners, their staff and drivers: name, phone and role, and the driver’s vehicle type.
- Join requests from this website: name, phone, town, shop or vehicle type, and notes.
- Your device’s notification token, to send you order updates.
What we don’t collect
Payment is cash only, so we never collect card or bank details. We do not sell your information to anyone.
Why we use it
- To deliver your order: the shop sees your name, order and phone; the driver sees your name and address, and your phone only after accepting the order.
- To send notifications about your order and about offers.
- To protect the service from abuse and to resolve problems and complaints.
Who we share it with
- The shop you order from and the driver who delivers it, only as much as the order needs. A shop that keeps a tab for you sees the orders on it and the payments, and keeps a name it chooses for you that no one else sees.
- Technical providers working for us: database hosting (Supabase, servers in the EU), notifications (Expo, Apple and Google), sign-in code messages (Twilio), and maps.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information while your account exists. When you delete your account we delete your name, phone, addresses and notifications; past orders are kept without your name, phone or address, for our accounts with the shops.
Your rights
You may see your information, correct it, and ask us to delete it. You can edit your name and addresses in the app, delete your account under “Account → Delete account”, or write to us.
Security
Information travels encrypted, and access is limited to those who need it to run the service.
Children
The app is meant for people aged 16 and over.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will post the new version here, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
